America under Trump

Dear Editor,

It is truly discouraging but quite obvious that current president Donald J. Trump, who also happens to be a convicted felon, when taking the U.S. presidential oath of office to begin his second term in the White House during his inauguration on January 20th 2025 swore that to the best of his ability that he would preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United states.

But to date he has done the opposite and has also refused to comply with the Rule of Law which he is also required to do, as no other president has ever so done in their first 100 days in office.

President Trump along with his personally selected historically incompetent, unqualified, and psychopathic cabinet members and staff have led our great country as well as the world into an extremely chaotic state the likes of which has seldom, if ever been in existence prior.

As a result President Trump’s approval ratings have reached an historic low 39% during his first 100 days in office — that is already 17 points lower than on his Election Day for his second term, which is the lowest rating for any U.S. President at this stage in office since such polls had originated over several decades ago.

In addition, President Trump obviously has little if any respect or regard for others with those with whom he may disagree and whose primary motivation is that of revenge.

Recall his words on the recent passing of president Jimmy Carter when he stated that President Carter died a happy man because he knew that he was not the worst U.S. President Joe Biden was.

How utterly inappropriate and completely disrespectful are the Trump comments which are sadly, quite typical, as well as an insult to his high office, the Carter Family and the American people.

For the record, the most recent U.S. presidential poll ranks President Carter as the 26th best U.S. President, with Trump because of his first term in office, ranking 41st with only Franklin Pierce, Andrew Johnson and James Buchanan respectfully ranking lower than President Trump.

Trump along with his top campaign donor Elon Musk under the auspices of D.O.G.E. “Department of Government Efficiency” have eliminated more than 260,000 federal jobs while showing complete disrespect for those whose jobs have been eliminated and as a result Musk approval ratings are even lower than those of Trump, as his car company Tesla has been in a great decline in sales and as a result is reported that Musk plans to significantly diminish his government involvement in the very near future.

Also, the South African born Musk, the world’s wealthiest man who reportedly has conceived a minimum of 14 children with numerous women, had previously pledged that his massive cuts would save the U.S. in excess of $2 trillion when in reality has actually saved the U.S. only $150 billion, indicating that his moves have been extremely disastrous on multiple levels.
