OFF THE TEE: OUE golfers continue quest toward ORCC title

And by doing that, the Panthers are inching closer to locking up the school’s first Ohio Regional Campus Conference title.

Most recently, OUE claimed the title at the OSU Newark tournament by firing a score of 306.

Union Local grad Trevor Mudrak shot a 74 to once again serve as the Panthers’ low player. Steubenville Central product Thad Schrickel and Buckeye Trail grad Justin Wildon shot rounds of 76 and 77, respectively. The fifth score for the Panthers’ team total was posted by Austin Warehime. He shot an 84.

LOCAL?GOLD?INFO SOUGHT

Off The Tee golf section is back again and will once again run twice during the week throughout the spring and summer.

As I try to make this column as much about local golf as possible, I need your help. If you’re having a scramble, we want to hear about it. If you have results of a league, we want to hear about those, too. If you know of just something interesting happening in golf, we want that info as well. Don’t forget about area natives who are playing golf collegiately. Feel free to send information on those as well.

Basically, if it’s local golf related, feel free to submit it because we want to hear about it.
