EAST LIVERPOOL — Six different players scored goals as St. Clairsville (2-0) coasted past East Liverpool, 6-1, in girls’ high school soccer action Tuesday night.

Emily Thompson, Mikayla Hendershot, Ariel Ott, Gianna Nardo, Alyssa Bodkin and Zoe Russell all found the net.

Hendershot added a pair of assists as did Nardo. Thompson also logged an assist.

Jaeda Nowak made seven saves.

Harrison spikes Buckeye Local

AT CONNORVILLE, Harrison Central improved to 2-1 on the young season with a three-game sweep of homesteading Buckeye Local on Monday. The Huskies prevailed by scores of 25-15, 25-8 and 25-13.

Abbey Kinyo had two aces, two kills, three digs and five assists for the Panthers, while Alexa Williams had three kills, three digs and three assists. Kassidy George had 15 digs.

Dunlevy Leads Linsly to Victory

Santille earns medalist

CADIZ — Dylan Dunlevy carded a team-best 40 (4-over par) to help Linsly capture a 169-177 victory over Harrison Central on Tuesday.

Also delivering strong performances for the Cadets were Geno Bisbocci (42), Ryan Dembiczak (43) and Phil Naum (44).

Harrison Central’s Sam Santille claimed match medalist honors with a score of 38, followed by teammates Trevor Thompson (43), Aiden Sliva (46) and Wyatt Foreman (50).
