ON SUNDAY, March 31, Pastor Aaron Szloboda of East Richland Evangelical Friends CHurch will lead the 6 a.m. Sunrise Service at Memorial Park Rotary Pavilion. Regular Easter services will be at 9:30 and 11 a.m. in the Ickes Family Life Center, 67880 Friends Church Road, St. Clairsville. MARTINS FERRY Knights of Columbus will hold an Easter flower sale from March 28-30 at the parking lot of Ferry Hardware, South Zane Highway, Martins Ferry. Hours are 9 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. March 28-29 and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 30.

A COMMUNITY Easter egg hunt will be held on Saturday, March 30, at the Warren Township Park beginning at noon. The event is sponsored by the Yorkville, Tiltonsville, and Rayland Methodist churches and the Warren Township Lions Club.

SHADYSIDE COMMUNITY Fellowship of Churches will be having a Good Friday service at the Shadyside Community Building at noon March 29. All are welcome.

ON MARCH 28, a Maundy Thursday service will be held from 6-7:30 p.m. in the Ickes Family Life Center at East Richland Friends Church, 67885 Friends Church Road, St. Clairsville. A meal will be served; registration required at erfriends.com.

A GOOD Friday Service and Communion will be held at noon March 29 in the sanctuary at East Richland Friends Church, 67885 Friends Church Road, St. Clairsville. Everyone is welcome. At 6 p.m., there will be a Good Friday Drama & Communion in the Sanctuary.

THE BELLAIRE Clergy Association will hold its annual Cross Walk on Good Friday, March 29, in downtown Bellaire. The walk will begin at 9:30 a.m. at the gazebo in Bellaire City Park. Walkers sing hymns and take turns carrying a wooden cross, stopping at various downtown locations to read the Passion Story from the Bible and to pray.

A DEMONSTRATION of Italian Cooking Italy’s Regional Recipes will begin at 2 p.m. April 14 at the Sons and Daughters of Italy Uguaglianza Lodge 754, located at 3348 Belmont St., Bellaire. Tickets can be purchased at the lodge bar during Thursday Spaghetti Night or Friday Lenten Fish Frys. Call 740-676-3178 for more information.

SONS OF Italy will be holding its annual fish fry every Friday during Lent, including Good Friday, March 29. Fish sandwiches will be available along with side dishes, including cabbage and noodles, french fries, onion rings and coleslaw. Hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

BRILLIANT AMERICAN Legion has resumed weekly fish fries for the Lenten season. Fish fry season will run through March 29. The menu includes a choice of Coleman’s fish, chicken planks, shrimp, wing dings or fish nuggets. All of the above can be bought as dinners or smaller portion baskets. Dinners come with bread, french fries and coleslaw. Onion rings can be substituted for an additional $1. Other menu items include french fries, onion rings, hush puppies, mozzarella sticks and hot or mild cheese balls. Hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Orders can be called in to 740-598-3515. The legion is located at 210 Market St., Brilliant. Limited delivery will be available. Check the legion’s Facebook page at “The Brilliant American Legion Post 573” for the complete menu.

MARTINS FERRY Knights of Columbus will hold a Lenten fish fry at the council home, 25 N. Fourth St., each Friday of Lent from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. or until the fish is sold out. Eat-in or takeout orders are available. Menu includes Coleman’s fish dinner or sandwich, onion rings, french fries, cole slaw, pop, tea, water. Call 740-633-0528 early for afternoon orders.
