Jack Lee Akers, 78, of Morristown, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. He was born March 23, 1948, Morristown, Ohio, a son of the late Earl Wade and Cecil Estepp Akers. Jack was a retired coal miner who dedicated more than 50 years of service to the former R&F, Oxford Coal Mines, and CC Coal and Construction.
