High wind warning in effect across region

EASTERN OHIO could be in for another windy weekend, with the possibility that those winds could lead to more downed trees and power outages. The National Weather Service in Pittsburgh issued a high wind warning for the region, from Eastern Ohio to West Virginia’s Northern Panhandle and into western Pennsylvania. That warning will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, April 1. According to the NWS, southwest winds of 20 to 35 mph are expected, with gusts reaching as high as 60 mph.
