Bill and Joyce Sutak are celebrating their 45th wedding anniversary. They were united in marriage Oct. 9, 1971, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Martins Ferry, by Father Berie Krajcovic, Bill’s cousin. Bill is the son of the late Andrew and Margaret Sutak of Martins Ferry. Joyce is the daughter of the late John and Josephine Poludniak of Colerain. Bill is retired from Wheeling Park Commission and Joyce is retired from Ohio Valley Scale. They have two daughters Stacey (Don) Guthrie and Kristen (Nick) Arno, both of Colerain. Eimer 50th wedding anniversary

Ken and Peggy Eimer of Martins Ferry celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Sept. 17. They were married on Sept. 17, 1966, at the Bellaire Nazarene Church. Ken is a retired driver for United Parcel Service in Lafferty. Peggy is a homemaker and also worked at Phillips Stamping Co. in Bellaire and Kroger in Benwood. The couple has two sons and two daughters-in-law: Philip and Sherri Eimer of Martins Ferry, and Brad and Tracy Eimer of Hudson, Ohio. Seevers 25th wedding anniversary

Roger and Amy Seevers of Bellaire will celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary on Sept. 28. They were united in marriage on Sept. 28, 1991, at Trinity Assembly Of God Church in Martins Ferry by the late Rev. Charles Kelley. Roger is the son of the late Robert Seevers and Anna Olack Seevers. Amy is the daughter of Nancy Nieman of Martins Ferry and the late John Nieman. They are the proud parents of two children, Corey Seevers of Reedsville, Ohio, and Kylie Seevers of Bellaire. They celebrated with family and friends on a cruise to the Bahamas and the Florida Keys in August.

James and Shirley Taylor of Bellaire are celebrating their 65th wedding anniversary. They were married Sept. 28, 1951, at the Taylor family home, Bellaire. Shirley is a homemaker and James is a retired builder and farmer. They have resided on their farm for all 65 years of marriage.
