Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Helms of Shadyside are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary today, June 8. Helms is the son of the late Lloyd and Florence Helms. His wife, Janice, is the daughter of the late Mary Loos and James Bulger. The couple of two children, Kelly (Jim) Amato of Shadyside and Scott of Shadyside and have four grandchildren: Jimmy of Hamilton, N.Y., Eric, Adam and Karlie Amato. They celebrated their anniversary at a joint party with their grandson, Adam, celebrating his graduation.

Jerry and Donna Fisher of Bellaire celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on June 14. They were united in marriage June 14, 1958 at St. Joe by the Rev. Robert Eddy. Fisher is the son of the late Louis (Bud) and Nettie Fisher of Bellaire and is retired from First Energy Corporation. His wife, Donna, is the daughter of the late Edward and Kathryn Brewer. Conley is the son of the late Vincent (Pete) and Virginia Conley. His wife Janice is the daughter of Clarence (Doc) Saffell and the late Doris Saffell.
