MR. AND Mrs. David Dumas of Pittsburgh, Pa., announce the engagement of their daughter, Emily Ann, to Andrew Richard Starinchak, son of Richard Starinchak of Pittsburgh and Mary White of Sharon, Pa.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Joseph and Brenda Dumas of Bellaire. She is a 2008 graduate of North Hills High School and studied at the University of Pittsburgh and Sanford Brown Institute to become a diagnostic medical sonographer. She is employed by Ohio Valley Hospital and Allegheny Imaging of McCandless.

Her fiance is a 2008 graduate of North Hills High School and A. W. Beattie Career Space Center. He is employed by Baierl Cadillac as an automotive technician.

An October wedding is planned in Pittsburgh.
