Bernard and Geri Krahel of St. Clairsville announce the engagement of their son, Eric Paul, to Jennifer Michelle Schiefer, daughter of Robert and Rene Schiefer of Columbus, Ohio.

The bride-to-be is a 2006 graduate of Hilliard Darby High School in Hilliard, Ohio, and a 2010 graduate of Capital University in Columbus, Ohio, with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. She also recently received her doctorate of physical therapy degree from Wheeling Jesuit University in 2013.

Her fiance is a 1997 graduate of St. Clairsville High School, currently working towards an associate’s degree in sports and fitness management at Zane State College.

A Sept. 27 wedding is planned at Saint Joseph Cathedral in Columbus.
