Baker, Melko
Karley Renaye Baker and Brock Thomas Melko were united in marriage on June 28, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. at St. John’s Catholic Church in Benwood with the Rev. Dennis R. Schuelkens, Jr. officiating. The bride was escorted by her father.
Parents of the bride are Shawn Ann Taylor of Bellaire and Robert Baker, Jr. of Rayland. Parents of the groom are Monica Melko of Benwood and the late Scott Melko.
Mandy Doyle and Lacey Baker were the matron and maid of honor. Best men were Broc Jones and Joe Minor. Other attendants were Beth Ann Melko, Molly Taylor, Spencer Porter, Jalynn Keyser, Rachael Zagoric, Johnny Bonar, Robbie Bonar, Andrew Montes, Justin Eikleberry, and Jason Eikleberry. Olivia Baker and Kennedy Bonar were the flower girls, and Nathen Smith and Henry Doyle were the ring bearers.
A reception was held at Undo’s in St. Clairsville.
The bride is a 2010 graduate of Bellaire High School and a 2012 graduate of Ohio University with a bachelor of science in communication Scripps degree. She is employed at Turn It Out Dance Academy, Bellaire where she is an administrative assistant and dance instructor.
The groom is a 2009 graduate of John Marshall High School and a 2013 graduate of West Liberty University with a bachelor of arts degree in secondary math education. He teaches math and is head coach of the girl’s basketball team at John Marshall High School.
After their honeymoon to Riviera Maya, Mexico, the couple resides in Bethlehem.
