BETHANY DAVIES and Chad Nixon were united in marriage on Friday, July 4, 2014 at their home with Pastor Robert Turner officiating.

Peyton Opic-Nixon, daughter of the groom, served as flower girl and escorted the couple down the aisle.

Parents of the bride are Ed and Sue Davies of Finleyville, Pa. Parents of the groom are Neal Luedy and Karen Nixon of Shadyside.

The bride is a 2006 graduate of Ringgold High School and a 2013 graduate of Cal U, where she earned her master’s degree in business administration. She is employed at Enlow Mine as a mine clerk.

Her husband attended Shadyside and went on to earn his GED Diploma in 2010. He is employed at Enlow Mine as an underground coal miner.

The couple reside in Tiltonsville.
