Cara Lynn DePalma and Matthew Ambler Michaux were united in marriage on Saturday, July 5, 2014 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in St. Clairsville, with The Very Rev. Thomas Chillog officiating.

Parents of the bride are Joseph and Mary DePalma of St. Clairsville. Parents of the groom are Richard Michaux and Jean Michaux of Pittsburgh.

Jenny DePalma was the maid of honor, and Benjamin Michaux served as best man. Other attendants were Gina DeMarco, Jacklin Pfaff, Alaire Mancz, Rachael Watson, Anne Zimmermann, Matthew Beaurain, Joey DePalma, Trent Fitchwell, Elias Santana and Brent Watson.

The bride is a 2001 graduate of St. Clairsville High School, a 2005 graduate of Ohio University with a degree in hearing, speech, and language sciences, and a 2008 graduate of Northwestern University’s Doctor of Audiology program. She is employed as an audiologist at VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System.

Her husband is a 2002 graduate of Central Catholic High School in Pittsburgh, a 2006 graduate of Penn State with degrees in economics, business management and international studies, and a 2009 graduate of the Penn State Smeal College of Business MBA program. He works as a software development manager for a technology firm in Pittsburgh, a consultant to a healthcare start-up in State College and a high school basketball coach.

The couple reside in Pittsburgh.
