Haynes, St. John
Amanda Jo Haynes and Matthew Howard St. John were united in marriage Saturday, June 21 on the West Spa Patio at Wilson Lodge, Oglebay Park, Wheeling. The Rev. John Jackson officiated at the outdoor ceremony. The bride was escorted by her grandfather.
The bride is the granddaughter of Victor and DeAnna Hess of Moundsville, and the daughter of Melissa and Scott Sawinski of Benwood, and Jeff and Anne Haynes of Bay City, Mich. The groom is the son of Beckie and Jim Jack of St. Clairsville, and Maynard and Christine St. John of Wheeling.
Rebecca Mastarone was matron of honor, and Ashleigh Pegg was maid of honor. Joseph St. John served as best man. Other attendants were Jonni Jo Magistro, Brittany Taylor, Alicia Jarvis, Lavon Steadman, Cody Mozena, Eric Gay, Adam Scott, Kurt Williamson and Brian Chance. Emma Jarvis served as flower girl, and Landon St. John served as ring bearer. Lucy St. John and David Polsinelli presented readings during the ceremony.
A reception was held at Glessner Auditorium immediately following the ceremony.
The bride is a graduate of John Marshall High School and West Liberty University. She is currently attending the Vet Tech Institute of Pittsburgh and will graduate in February 2015. She is employed part-time at Undo’s West in St. Clairsville.
The groom graduated from St. Clairsville High School and attended the University of Southern Indiana. He is employed by Alliance Coal Company, Tunnel Ridge Mine, Triadelphia.
Following a honeymoon in Montego Bay, Jamaica, the couple reside in Martins Ferry.
