Shellie Pinson and Gary Lucas were united in marriage Aug. 9, 2014 at 5:30 p.m. in an outside wedding at Barnesville Memorial Park with the Rev. Gene Miller officiating.

Parents of the bride are Peggy and David Heeter of Spencer, W.Va. Parents of the groom are Kathleen and the late Gary Lucas of Barnesville.

Sheila Coe was the maid of honor, and Jeff Lucas was the best man.

A reception following the service was held at the American Legion in Barnesville.

The couple reside in Smithfield.
