Martins Ferry Mayor John Davies stands below as Paul Jeffries, owner of FX Moments, installs new lights that were donated by Mark Sambuco, owner of Psycho Sound LLC, into the gymnasium of the Martins Ferry Recreation Center. Davies said the lights will add to the atmosphere for a variety of community events held there. He said he is grateful to local businesses for coming out to support the city’s efforts and helping to make their job a little easier in creating a better facility for the community to enjoy. Jeffries said he was happy to help provide lighting to the center. “If every small business could help just a little bit in each community, it makes a better place for the kids and gives them things to do,” he said.
