Ohio State Highway Patrol investigating fatal crash

ST. CLAIRSVILLE — The Ohio State Highway Patrol St. Clairsville Post is investigating a fatal motor vehicle crash that occurred at about 9:12 p.m. Thursday on U.S. 250 near Milepost 3 in Colerain Township. Preliminary findings reveal that a 2017 Jeep Compass, driven by Frank M. Kuatv, 83, of Adena, was traveling west on U.S. 250 when it veered off the left side of the road and collided with a house. Woman arrested in Wheeling Island stabbing incident

WHEELING — A Wheeling woman was arrested in a stabbing incident Thursday morning on Wheeling Island. Deandra Dawn McCann, 61, was arrested and charged with two counts of malicious wounding, according to the Wheeling Police Department. She was arraigned by Ohio County Magistrate Kevin Stryker, who set bond at $3,000, and was taken to Northern Regional Jail.
