Randy Lee Underwood Sr., 68, of Jacobsburg, Ohio, died January 3, 2024, at his home. He was born May 5, 1955, in Bellaire, Ohio, a son of the late Floyd E. Underwood and Lila Mae Corbett Underwood. Randy was a retired coal miner. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Bertie Underwood. Joan graduated from Harvey High School in Painesville, Ohio, in 1947. She then graduated from nursing school at Ohio Valley Hospital in Steubenville, Ohio. She had a very successful career as nurse and nursing supervisor at Barnesville Hospital where she retired in 1993.
