The Rev. Dr. Donald LaFaber, 76, of Martinsburg, WV passed away Tuesday, October 18, in Meritus Medical Center, Hagerstown MD. Carol Fisher, 72, of Beallsville, died Thurs., Oct. 20 in Wheeling Hospital. Linda Hibbs, 75, of Wheeling, West Virginia, passed away on Tuesday, October 11, 2022. She was born August 15, 1947 in Wheeling to the late John Francis and Irene Cecelia (Dunn) Barr. Linda was known to many as a loving wife, mother, and friend. She brought her love of cooking to Wheeling Hospital where she was employed as a dietary aide, famous for her chicken salad. Linda was a loyal employee and retired in 2018. She always had a smile and encouraging word for everyone she met. Robert Lee Visnic Sr., 87, of St. Clairsville, Ohio died Tuesday, October 18, 2022, in Liza’s Place, Wheeling, West Virginia. He was born December 8, 1934, in Dilles Bottom, Ohio, a son of the late Michael P. Visnic and Mary A. Whitlatch Visnic. He was a retired transportation manager for Ohio Valley Coal Company, a United States Marine Corps Veteran, a member of Belmont Lodge #16 F.&A.M. in St. Clairsville and he enjoyed stockcar racing.
