I ask you to seriously review the candidates and their stance on Social Security and Medicare. Dear Editor, On February 26, Ohio proved once again that nothing in the state is sacred when it comes to making money from fracking. In addition to some Department of Transportation parcels, the 5-member Oil and Gas Land Management Commission (OGLMC) approved bids to frack Salt Fork State Park in Guernsey County, Valley Run in Carroll County, and Zepernick Wildlife area in Columbiana County. Concerns about historic area bridges

Dear Editor, It has recently been announced that the Aetnaville Bridge, also known as the Georgia Street bridge, which connects Aetnaville, Ohio, with Wheeling Island, Wheeling, West Virginia, across the Ohio River is scheduled for demolition with work scheduled to begin circa July 28th, 2025. The historic structure known as the Aetnaville Bridge was erected in 1891 and served the area extremely well throughout its long history until its closure to vehicular traffic in 1988 and later to pedestrian traffic in 2016. Scared for America

Dear Editor, Last week I wrote a letter to the editor urging fellow Democrats to vote for Haley in the primary to stop Trump. Of course, this is a moot point now. I received two letters at my home today concerning my letter. This is America and we are allowed to voice our opinions. The two people could’ve responded with letters to the editor but didn’t.
