Dear Editor, The United Mine Workers of America recently held a memorial service at the Willow Grove Mine site in Neffs, Ohio, to honor 72 miners who lost their lives in an explosion on March 16, 1940. On behalf of the UMWA I would like to extend my sincerest appreciation to all who supported us in making the event possible. No one is ever really gone unless we forget them. Dear Editor, If the Earth has environmental toxic termination in about “ten years” (per experts ?) the American government regulators and the “New World Order” (whatever that is, and who’s in charge?) should address our eminent demise. Open borders allowing millions of illegals to enter and be released inside our borders, with court dates ranging from five to nine years to join the millions of dreamers already here. Dear Editor, It was with great sadness that I heard about the fire destroying the American Legion in Glencoe. I was born and raised there and have been following with interest the recent developments. On behalf of the Kaplet family of Glencoe, I would like to state publicly how heartening it has been to see the outpouring of support for the people of this community.
