Union Local schools in session despite threat
MORRISTOWN - Law enforcement is investigating an alleged threat against the Union Local School District, but officials say students and staff are safe. District leaders learned of the alleged threat at about 6 p.m. Tuesday and contacted the Bethesda Police Department and Belmont County Sheriff's Department. Officers determined the school buildings were safe and that classes could proceed as usual today. Additional security personnel are on hand today as the investigation continues.
