ALAN and Mary Ann Jeffries celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary, Friday, Nov. 30. They were united in marriage Nov. 30, 1957 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Shadyside with the late Rev. Father Peter Sartori officiating. Jeffries is the son of the late Taylor and Frances Jeffries and is a retired electrician from WG Electric. He is also an Air Force veteran of the Korean War. His wife, Mary Ann, is the daughter of the late Frank and Anna Kempa and has a brother, Tom who resides in Shadyside also. She is a wife and mother.
