WINNERS OF the Liberty Engine Company Holiday Bonus Cash Raffle were pulled on Nov. 29 after the Martins Ferry Volunteer Fire Department’s annual community Christmas parade. The winners of the three cash prizes are Donnie Cash from Martins Ferry, Casey Dubiel from Lafferty and Jackie Petersen from Colerain. The Liberty Engine Company thanks everyone who supported this fundraiser and looks forward to your continued support. EAST OHIO Regional Water Authority’s Board of Trustees’ December meeting has been changed to Dec. 12 at 11 a.m. at the plant, located at 6000 N. Guernsey St., Bellaire.

ST. CLAIRSVILLE Area Chamber of Commerce is set to host a Business Afterhours titled “Making Bellaire Great Again” from 5-7 p.m. Dec. 10 at Capes and Tiaras, 527 44th St., Bellaire. There is a fee or a reduced fee with the donation of an unwrapped toy for donation to Operation Toy Lift.

THE HOLIDAY Art Show & Sale features local handcrafted gifts and is underway in two Wheeling locations. It is open through Dec. 23 at the Stifel Fine Arts Center on National Road and the Schrader Environmental Education Center in Oglebay Park.

Handcrafted merchandise from dozens of vendors fills both locations. Items for sale include fine art, jewelry, pottery, paintings, photography, textiles, crafts and more in a variety of styles and price ranges.

Hours at the Stifel Fine Arts Center are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.

Hours are the Schrader Center are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday.

THE SCRADER Center inside Oglebay Park is set to host two holiday events geared toward children:

∫ Candy Cane Hunts — 4-5 p.m. Dec. 11. Children can craft a holiday bag and explore the nature trails around the Schrader Center to see how many candy canes they can find. Certain ones may win a prize. Bundle up and bring a flashlight. Hot chocolate will be served after each hike. There is a cost. Pre-registration required. Register online or call 304-242-6855.

∫ Mrs. Claus Explains it All — 6:30-7:30 p.m. Dec. 7. Mrs. Claus visits the Schrader Center to answer some of the most burning questions surrounding Christmas and Santa himself. This children’s program includes a book reading, holiday craft, hot cocoa and cookies. There is a cost; register online or call 304-242-6855.
