Mr. and Mrs. Edward Frank Vetula will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Nov. 26 with a Mass at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in St. Clairsville at 4:30 p.m. Carolyn and Edward were united in marriage on Nov. 26, 1966, at St. Joseph’s in Fairpoint, Ohio, with the Rev. The Rev. Richard and Dorothy Phelps, former pastor of Shadyside Nazarene Church, celebrated their 75th wedding anniversary on Nov. 18. Richard and Dorothy were both born in Warren, Ohio, delivered by the same doctor. They were introduced by a mutual friend. Richard graduated from Eastern Nazarene College. Schilling 50th wedding anniversary

John and Nanna Schilling celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Nov. 5. They were united in marriage Nov. 5, 1966, at St. John’s Lutheran church with the late Pastor Paul W.O. Hiest officiating. Schilling is the son of the late John and Mary Schilling and is employed by the Martins Ferry City School District. His wife Nanna, a retired nurse, is the daughter of the late Warren and Lillie Messerly. They are parents of three children and have five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. They celebrated with a dinner with the family.

DiSantis 45th wedding anniversary
