Probst is the son of the late Lawrence and Laura Edna (Hamilton) Probst. He is employed by Wilson Blacktop Corporation in Martins Ferry.His wife, Josie, is the daughter of the late Joseph and Dina (Barsanti) Olinski. 35th wedding anniversary: Thompson

RICH and Pat Thompson are celebrating their 35th wedding anniversary today. They were united in marriage at Lloydsville Church, Sept. 23, 1972, with the late Rev. Karl Fitch officiating. Thompson is the son of the late Albert and Vergie Thompson and is employed at Ohio Valley Coal. His wife, Pat, is the daughter of the late Robert and Bessie Haught. They have two children, Amy (Mike) DeLaney and Michelle (Jimmy) Hess, both of Centerville. They also have three grandchildren, Alli, Dakota and Logan. There will be a dinner hosted by their children.

ST. CLAIRSVILLE - Lawrence and Ruth Ann England celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary on Sept. 9. England, the son of the late Virginia Kaltenbach England is CEO of the IPA in St. Clairsville. His wife, Ruth Ann (Dabrawsky), is the daughter of the late Theodore and Rose Dabrawsky. They have 5 children, the late Eric and Leeanne, Marc and his wife Jessica of Woodbridge, Va., Laura Benson and her husband Don of Lewis Center, Ohio, and Scott of Grove City. They have three grandchildren, Evan, Christopher and Leeanne. They celebrated with family.

James R. and Edna R. Grella of St. Clairsville celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Sept. 21 They were united in marriage Sept. 21, 1957 at the United Methodist Church in Bridgeport. Grella is the son of late Roy and Sara Grella of Bridgeport. He is a retired salesman of Curtis 1000 and currently employed by Reisbeck’s. His wife, is the daughter of late Mary Harper of Bellaire. The couple have a son Roy and his wife, Patty of Knob Noster, Mo. and a daughter Cheryl and her husband Mike Becker of St.Clairsville. PAUL (Tom) AND JEAN Thompson will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary, Oct. 4. They were united in marriage, Oct. 4, 1947, at the bride’s home by Rev. William Cooke. Following a honeymoon trip to Niagara Falls, the couple returned to the home in Mt. Pleasant in which they currently reside.
