Mr. and Mrs. Charles Espenschied of Triadelphia announce the engagement of their daughter, Bethany Nicole Hughes, to Brian Christopher Farmer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence “Bud” Farmer, Sr. of Valley Grove.

The bride-to-be is a 2002 graduate of Wheeling Park High School and a 2006 graduate of the Wheeling Hospital Radiology Program. She is currently employed at Wheeling Hospital.

Her fiance is a 2002 graduate of Wheeling Park High School. He currently possesses a Class A CDL, which he received from All State Career in 2011. He is employed by 18 Karat Inc. at Bailey Mine Expansion as a heavy equipment operator.

An early fall wedding is planned.
