Kari Ann Clark and Scott Allen Covey were united in marriage on June 27 at the historic Lafayette Hotel in Marietta with the Rev. Gaskins officiating the double ring ceremony.

Parents of the bride are Ronnie and Karen Clark of Shadyside. Parents of the groom are Randy and Janet Hasely of Marietta.

Alyssa Mathews was the maid of honor and Billy and Mike Tebay served as best men. Other attendants were Amanda Adams, Avery Wagner, Sammie Shriver, Jesse O’Donnell, Emily O’Connell, Mike Herrington, Jeremy Wittekind, Matt Halfhill, and Cory Clark. Alana Clark was the flower girl and Caleb Clark served as ring bearer.

A reception was held at The Lafayette Hotel following the ceremony.

The bride is a 2002 graduate of Shadyside High School and a 2008 graduate of West Virginia Northern Community College with an associate’s in Applied Science in Surgical Technology. She is currently enrolled in nursing school at Washington State Community College. She is employed as a certified surgical technologist at Marietta Memorial Hospital.

The groom is a 2000 graduate of Marietta High School. He is currently employed as an operator at Shelly Materials Inc.

The couple took a honeymoon to the Riviara Maya, Mexico, and reside in Marietta.
