Clark indicted on murder charge
WESLEY B. CLARK, 52, was indicted on charges of murder, aggravated murder, having weapons while under disability and two counts of tampering with evidence.
According to a press release from the office of Prosecuting Attorney Owen Beetham, Clark was indicted following a session of the Harrison County Grand Jury on Friday.
Clark is accused in the murder of Dustin Moreland, a 26-year-old Dennison man whose body was found off Taylor Road in Harrison County on May 12. Clark was quickly named as a suspect; according to a Find Dustin Moreland Facebook page, Moreland and Clark had made plans to go to Texas together for a job opportunity.
Following a multi-agency manhunt that ended in Carroll County, Clark was arrested and taken to the Tuscarawas County Jail. He was recently sentenced to three years incarceration on a prior charge of escape.
