Donna Jean Pelkey, 61, of Belmont, Ohio died Monday May 20, 2024, in Wheeling Hospital. She was born April 24, 1963, in Wheeling, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Alvin L. Shunk and Donna Marie Davis Shunk. Jeannie worked as a cook at Burger King. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Eugene Pelkey in 2018; a brother, Donald Shunk; and a sister, Penny Shunk. Joseph John Roy, 85, of Pleasant Grove died Monday, May 20, 2024, at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, West Virginia. He was born December 12, 1938 in Martins Ferry, Ohio a son of the late Joseph and Emma Julia (Veloski) Roy. Joe was a 1956 graduate of Martins Ferry High School. Following graduation, he embarked on a twenty year career in the United States Air Force.
