Bellaire’s Thornton signs with Defiance College

Bellaire’s Jadyn Thornton, pictured, signed her letter of intent Monday to play volleyball at Defiance College on April 26. The 6-foot-3 hitter tallied 81 kills, 63 digs and 33 total blocks in her senior season. One of six seniors for the Big Reds this past season, Thornton will now travel to Northwest Ohio to join the Yellowjackets.
